Why does warrior hate brine so much. i mean, the what are you looking at, and then under their laxicon, Bryneeicate: to ripp of someone elses idea and call it your own. I mean, this has NOTHING to do with lax. i hate warrior.

because brine rips off other people's ideas. THat's why. Look at the defts. Glad fingers and warrior cuff. It's so obvious. My guess is also that it isn't just a one way thing, I'm betting that brine has made a fair share of comments towards warrior. It's competition.

every company hates eachother..and every company copies eachother. it's just fate. if companies didnt copy stx for making the first plastic head, or didn't copy brine for making the first offset head, or even now copying harrow for popularizing composite shafts.
and on hating eachother...stx and brine have sued eachother back and forth (with brine eventually winning). just name one time 2 lacrosse comapnies have worked together in some kind of issue, event, promotion, anything.
a few examples of rip offs:
-stx creates the "forward cant" system, which is really brine's offset design
-brine creates a head this year that looks obscenely like an stx proton
-stx creates the profile, a head very similar in design to the warrior razer
-brine creates the deft gloves, ripping off warrior's cuff from superfreaks and stx's gladiator fingers
-warrior creates vaportek, awfully similar to under armour
-brine creates the blur cleats, ripping off warrior's idea of a lacrosse cleat (blur-burn...could have made a more unique name too)
-brine renames and redesigns all of their shafts with more kid-friendly names, a thing stx did a year ago
-within a span of a year or two, every major lacrosse company now has a women's goggle, even though cascade had the iris years before
-some would argue that warrior's viking helmet took a lot of traits from the CPX
-the sidewall design in the stx bionic is very similar to the cyber
note: none of these are my opinion. these are just some popular beliefs.
personally, i hate all brine merchandise, and try not to use it. The only gear i've ever used that were brine was my starting set of pads, because going to your local sports store in MA, everything is brine (and its usually the cheapest set of pads). I then get all new non brine pads once i educated myself. Then last summer when i received a free $50 gift certificate from my camp, used to comlax ONLY on brine stuff...i was pretty mad. I was thinking about getting a helmet, some armguards maybe, a nice shaft...but it was a brine gift certificate...ugh.
Yeah, I'd say everybody ripped off of Brine first. A glove design. My gosh. Actually, the Brine cuff is far better than the Superfreak cuff, from what I've heard. I'll take it. Really, that will be the next glove I buy. Warrior isn't all that innovative themselves, and they haven't made a strong head since the Evo/Revo. Maybe the Evo and Revo Pro's will be better, but I'm not so sure. I love Brine, and their helmet is mad innovative. So I bought it.

your a tricky one lax101
Its just how companys make their money by coping other companys ideas its just good marketing if you ask me. If you take som1s ideas and improve them the consumer will want your product.

warrior made the first titanium shaft......the only thing that i like that is made by brine is their c555 shaft, but i'm starting not to like it beause of the price, adn debeer makes one that is lighter, cheaper and stronger.

Brine made the Edge. The Edge led to the Cyber. 'Nuff said.

right..makes sense
I don't know who made the metal shaft first, but Brine came first, in '22, and STX allowed Brine to use the plastic head. Imagine how screwed we'd all be if only STX heads were on the market. Ugh. Yeah, so I'll take Brine. Each company had their innovations. Except deBeer. They are just cool by themselves. But I hate Warrior most.

the other companies would have paid STX for the rights to use plastic heads, just as Brine charged all the companies who used offset heads (except STX who refuesed to pay and still manufactured offset heads: thus lawsuit).
i think competition like this is good for the market, it makes companies puch harder to be more innovtive because they know that for that one year before the other companies produce similar products (pending on rather it's successful or not: notice no1 follow STX's suit a few years back) and market and sell a ton of them.

Just to note; STX also made the first head with an open sidewall in the Excalibur.

You guys are talking about how one company makes a head then another comes out with one similar, it's just like Coke and Pepsi, they both have the same products similar so one isnt better than the other, so ur just payin for the name. I personally prefer warrior, i would only wear all warrior if they made helmets.

HHS, warrior does make helmets. They own and operate Stryke and have branded the new Viking dome as a Warrior helmet.
Guess you can go be a banner now.

Back on subject, Brine was making cleats before Warrior. Cleats made for lax, no. But Brine is also a soccer company that makes cleats (and has longer than the Burn cleats have been out).
