mesh too stretched out?

ok so i just strung up my toque some old mesh lying around but i stretched sooo much like wider that a piece of paper (portrait not landscape) and i got this "box" pocket. it isnt round it has sides here are pics what is wrong with it

also how the heck do i get the lip out of my toque i have tried everything. its like the scoop sticks out so far that no matter what the ball hits the scoop

nylon under the scoop, and just wet the mesh and restring it and then ball and knife it over night

yea im gonna have to agree with maki on that. try out a nylon, or the triangle topstring if it suits you.

your pocket should be fine, just do the ball and butterknife trick overnight.
