what's the difference between the three? i was going to get 12d but i'm not sure which to choose now. i'm relatively new to goalie (i played a couple of games) and i just bought an eclipse.

10d will have the most hold but more whip, 14d will have a little less hold but less whip and 12d is in the middle of the two, you can get a good channel with any of those choices though.
Anyone feel free to correct me, I dont play goal.
Here are some great 12d's.

jlancer just about hit the nail on the head, 12d is the best for foul weather play, and of the three 12d is what most goalies use.

14D will be the best for foul weather, it is just like 7D which is the best for field meshes.
I would go with 12D, it is very easy to string with closed sidewalls and it allows nice hold and ability to clear.

Get 12d thats what i have and i really like it. If you get that though string it with 12d.

12d. hands down. iv used hard mesh for like the past year and i finally switched to 12d and its liek discovering fire. you know, why have i not been using it all along? but go with that 12d. adn throw like a goal-ex in it. will look sick-o!!
