apparently rbk decided to make their 3 gloves in a goalie version as well.

theres teh 7k, the 9k and 5k are also there.
adidas has the adi excel model in goalie, not the adistrike.

and i hope theyre good because the difference in price of them and the normal is like 30 dollars compared to the 5-10 dollar differences of the rbk gloves.

there is like armor plating stitched ur thumb on the k18s....but that superfreak 2 is lookin soupa fine

its like a high impact plastic....the thumb isnt supposed to be very flexible which is why i dont think ill like them, but otherwise they look solid. i still say im preorderin the 7k tomorrow in the white and blue combo for school.

I just pre-ordered the 7ks. I can't wait to get them.
The adidas gloves look stupid.
I think the k18s have an interesting concept, I wouldn't mind trying them out but I don't see myself liking them.

Addidas should really consider lowering there price of the glove. Any person with slight amount of knowledge of lax equipment wouldnt buy them at that price. If they were like 50 im sure younger and less expierenced players would buy them.

I thought Adidas and RBK were part of the same company. Why does all of the RBK gear look amazing and the Adidas gear look like crap?

becasue RBK has been in lacrosse few a few years now and since they make hockey equipment, they would have some kind of a base for their gear

That's a pretty good picture of SU's goalie Kings last year. The K-18s are probably more protected, but I think the regular Kings are more comfortable than the regular K18s.

the king gloves in a goalie version are the same as defts....the thumb is the superfly type thumb that the defts and ventilator x gloves made famous.

right now i'm set on superfreak 2s but if the king goalies come out i'll probably go with those.

im not as worried as protection as i am about comfort, thanks alot though that picture really helped alot.

No they're not. He's wondering if he should get King goalies through his team order, or buy the K18 goalies instead.

Looks a lot like the custom piece that Jesse Schwartzmann used to have added to his STX goalie gloves. STX must have liked the idea enough to mass produce it...

The thumb on the Warrior goalie glove looks way better than before, but it still loks like there's next to no padding on the other fingers. I still can't get myself to trust them.
Anybody playing with Warrior goalie gloves who can comment on the finger padding?

I played last spring and summer with Goalie Superflys and had no problems with the fingers or thumbs. I love these gloves.

Should I go with Reebok 9ks or Warrior Superfreak 2's? I'm thinkin Superfreak 2...the RBK does look nice though.

My coach who works at comlax told me the 7k's and the 9k's are pretty much the same exact glove when i talked to him yesterday.

OMG IM IN LOVE WITH MY 7K's!!!!! im tryin to get a camera, im tryin to get pics so dont ask about them. they geel just like gforces at the palm for me at least, a lot of people said they felt differently....but theyre like perfect. thumb is pretty solid, i havent game tested it yet so i dont know how theyre gonna be in terms of that....but overall they seem pretty solid.

The thumb padding was fantastic. The finger padding, not so much. Watch out for the occasional pinky hit, those are the worst. This was with the Superfreaks (original).
