I was always told, in a situation like this, to focus on technique rather than saving them sloppily. If you know that your team is going to lose, focus on becoming a better goalie in the future rather than flailing around in the crease to make a few extra saves. Also still come into the game intense and with confidence because you might just throw off the other team if you get into a rhythm. Good Luck to you.

Hit the wall for a good hour before. It will warm-up your eyes and get your muscle memory going. Plus, the repetition will make anything above waist high seem relatively routine.
It's been a while since I played goalie, but thats what I would do.

Take them one at a time. Relax and just prepare for each shot. If you think to much, your mind will be on something else rather than saving the ball. Remeber to stay focused, and if you let one in, let it motivate you to make the next save.

Dont think about anything else execpt the ball and shooter. Dont think about last night or that one t.v. show you watched nine years ago. Just play the game shot by shot nothing more, nothing less

If you can save a wrench, you can save a ball.:rolling:
