Has anyone got their Wall yet ? I see that Sportstop.com is now shipping the Wall. I am hoping to have my son's any day now .

Is the wall field legal? It seems to be too long and that would mean more weight to a field goalie.

The wall is not approved for NCAA play.

my son got his today and is it huge. Right out of the box it throws well, is nice and light and there is no five hole left now. He plays this weekend indoors and will write a review then but so far it looks great.

I saw like two this past weekend playing box. Good gracious is that a big head, I was blown away by the length of it.

Once I put a shorter (and bent) shaft on mine I love it. The only thing is the 'wings' at the tips. After two games played, I'm definitely going to be trimming them down a bit, at least the right side. They tend to catch on the floor and slow me down just a tad when sliding to the opposite pipe and getting set.

The throw is definitely different, but after a few minutes I we used to it. Long passes are so much easier. And yea, there's no 5 hole at all! :-)

I wrote up a review a few days ago with pics and all, but apparently it's still being reviewed for approval...

my son will be using his on Saturday indoors so I will post pictures of him in his stance using his woodie, normal field goalie stick and the Wall for everyone to see the difference.
Throwing is different, my son was overthrowing until he got use to the weight difference from his woodie. But today after maybe a half hour of practice was throwing the ball from his crease to the opposite end dotted line with me only having to take two or three steps to catch it 8 out of ten times. Throws from the crease to center floor can be thrown like a bullet with no adjustments to the stick at all !!
I am also looking at bending the shaft a little bit as the one corner sits 1 - 1.5 inches off the ground due to no angle on head or shaft. I will bend the shaft roabout six inches above the throat, which is where my son grips the stick. He doesn't like sticking his thumb in the stick as Levis holds his.

It's a seperate head and shaft. The shaft is Alum, standard goalie length and matched (black paint and logo) to the head.

Check the thread "the wall in action" in this forum and you will see pixs comparing the Wall to a woodie and standard field goalie stick
