done with fall season so i now have 4 months until spring season.i dont want to lose the cardio endurance that i have gained, but i also want to start working everyday and seeing results.if i run after i work out will it negatively effect my mass and strength? i would assume it would only affect mass due to burning excess calories, but im not too sure.

If muscle allows you to lift more, would it not make sense that when you destroy muscle you are destroying strength.....

Basically you will burn more calories if you do cardio post workout. That said, you are, as LiquidMercury noted, unlikely not make much in the way of size gains if you opt for a serious cardio output after lifting.

I would assume also that you won't get much stronger either but you should consult a certified trainer at your school gym/local gym.

Run once a week to maintain focus on getting bigger and stronger. The last 3-4 weeks before lax focus on conditioning again. You don't need to be inseason shape during the offseason. It is much easier to gain size and strength when you arn't worrying about a million other things

I guess I agree with what you are trying to say, but you are defiantly saying it wrong. Destroying your muscle is what makes it bigger/stronger. Thats what you do every time you lift. That is why rest is so important

Destroying it without rebuilding it. In otherwords being completely catabolic.

being completely catabolic is next to impossible. You'd have to not sleep! Running after you lift will slow down your progress because you are trying to do too many things at once. Concentrate on one thing at a time. Periodization is key

You know what I'm getting at. Running after lifting may slow down, halt, or even negatively effect your attempts at gaining muscle.
