At the moment i use a stx al6000pro in defence and its holding up well but i want a full size longpole that is lighter than it, i was looking at either the maverik wonderboy excel or harrow defence? help please!

Welcome to TLF.
First off, the info you are looking for would be best found through searching (there is a search bar at the top of the page) namely in the equipment forum which would contain any info on shaft comparisons and reviews, a good place to start looking.
You may also want search some of the other equipment sites for reviews and info to do some comparison shopping as most threads like these tend to only get you preferrence answers which outside of in depth reviews don't really cater to giving you useful info to the type of player you are or what you are looking for. laxshopper.com is a good place to start as well.
