What does everything think of the Rippetoe workout? Any good experiences or feedback? Is it good for someone skinny trying to build muscle? I started it recently and I've seen some good feedback but I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time.

I used the rippetoes workout when I was a freshman. It really helped me gain a couple pounds (with a little help from whey protein.) Its basically lifting heavier weights with less reps.

It's alright. There are better out there in my opinion. Gaining size is more due to nutrition then to weight lifting. Weight lifting determines the type of weight you gain, i.e. muscle or fat. That's just my 2 cents on it.

rippetoes is a great beginner program, and if done right and combined with nutrition, can help put 30-40 lbs on your lifts in a 6 month period.
