There was a list, but I think it's outdated now with the new NCAA rules (which changed the parameters somewhat). If there's a new list, it isn't on this forum but might be in the equipment forum.
Try searching for "legal head NCAA 2009" and "legal head NCAA 2010".

BTW: how will this all be measured when a stick chek is anounced?
I think this rule is a litle bit inpractical and obvious how to go around it (just make the head wide at the measurment points and smaler in between ....)
why they dont make a standart tabloit (a simple triangle would work and could be home made) that you can put though the head.

I agree these rules do seem a bit impractical. I have a question too? Why were these rules even made? I may be a D man but still do they expect us to play with goalie heads? this is really gonna be rough on middies and attackmen and maybe even some D guys. :banghead:
Edit: Not meaning to sound rude im sure there are perfectly good reason for these rules please tell me why

This has been discussed in a number of threads here. The big problem is that it's almost impossible to dislodge the ball from a player's head because of the current pinched designs. Because of that, you have defenders beating the crap out of offensive players trying to get the ball out. It also retards passing, since if you can't check the ball out of the stick you're better off holding onto it than passing it (since passing becomes the most likely way to turn the ball over).
The new head specs are designed to make it easier to dislodge the ball. As a D-man, you should like these changes.

ehhh... I personally like a pinch on my head and I don't have much of a problem getting the ball out of the stick I usually use a quick slap to the shaft and there goes the ball. Thank you for your input though

How are we supposed to carry that on our belt though? I imagine it would be like running around with some modified billiard rack strapped to my thigh.

An official on this forum has designed a two-piece template you could stick in your sock or a pocket. But it remains to see how the NCAA will ask us to proceed.
If we had a large, one-piece template, I think you'd just leave one in each goal and one at the table and go get them when you needed them.
