I was debating on which to get, but you are not giving explanations to your votes. Why Eclipse? Why Nemesis?

You still aren't saying WHY. This thread will be closed.

i love my nemmy's... they feel balanced have a nice scope and i can get a perfect pocket out of them.
but the eclipse i have, also is nice, they would have to be nice, they have been in sales for more then 10years.

both heads are good for different things....
there have been hundreds of threads about the differences, pros/cons, +/-, anything you can think of about these heads has been put in a threads, so search around.

i love my nemesis but hate my eclipse, the throat is awkward, its not stiff as stiff as my nemesis and i hate the scoop. My nemesis is stiff the throat isn't perfect but its good enough.I guess its just all prefernce but i'd always choose a nemesis

i love the stiffness and flared sidewalls of my nemmy, i can string a perfect 12d pocket on my nemmy, i love the light weightness of my eclipse though and i like the throat better.

i currently own an eclipse. i love the eclipse for its flexiblity, but i am starting to miss the nemsis's weight especially on those low shots...and i really want to string a nemi

Personally I hate the eclipse the nemesis is the best-
Yea I like the nemesis the best too, But then again, I have only goofed around with an eclipse in the store... so maybe I'm alittle bias.
Go NEMMY!

Because of their shapes, the Eclipse is easiest head to string up for passing with, but isn't as conducive to cradling/dodging. The Nemesis is really good all-around- equally good for passing & ball-handling. If you're a stay-at-home, barely-ever-leave-the-crease goalie, go Eclipse. If you're a run-and-gunner outside the crease, go Nemesis (Sentinel also good in this regard).
And if you're ALL about playing outside the crease, maybe check out the Brine heads (great for dodging, tougher to string for passing).

Learn how to string a head and it really doesn't matter, both work well (in and out of the crease for that matter). If they didn't, you wouldn't see top goalies using them.

hmm i have used both, I used to be a die hard eclipse loverr. Its light and has a huge saveing area. Now that i got a nemi im hooked. Nemis have the nicest pockets, ALOT beter throat, and i find it ezier to cradle with. NEMI all the way

gotta go with my nemmy i just got strung up its nasty
..my main argument for the nemmy over the eclipse is strength and durability. the nemmy is a brick wall while you can bend an eclipse in half... not my style haha

they both have their merit and they both have their flaws. I loved the Flare and stiffness of the nemi, but couldn't stand the weight. on the other hand, the shape and weight of the Eclipse was great, but it proved too flimsy and the scoop was terrible. so, after playing a Fall Ball season with the Nemesis and a regular season with an Eclipse, i can honestly say that the Eraser beats them both, hands down.

I've used both, and i have to say that the nemi fit me better than the eclipse. I loved how it felt until...... I broke both of them and got my sentinel. The sentinel combined the things i liked about both the eclipse and nemi. It's lighter, but just as stiff as the nemi. Very balanced and easy to string. all in all, i'm not going back to a nemi or eclipse

Funny thing...most BIG TIME goalies play with what they're handed.
Who sponsors them, their team, league...whatever....if pressed, most
will say it doesn't matter to them what they use. If it's free, they use it.

if the eclipes is more flexible that is better beecuase that leaves the nemmy to break easieir if you catch it on the groung hard or put two much pressure on it like my friend broke two nemmys by not being flexible enough

iv never used a nemmy. i wanted to buy one cause of those flared sidewalls, but that shovel looking scoop didnt look like it would be cool with my crappy excuse for a lax field. imo the eclipse is wats up. good offset. scoops well. lightweight.

but being flexible is not always good kgoal

i like the nemi alot. the eclipse was to flexible and when a shot hit the scoop the head would just bend and the ball would still go in the net.
but i have to say soon this thread might be changed to Eraser vs. Nemi. i have been using Eraser for a year now. that thing is better than the Nemi or Eclipse. but anyway back on track...
