Play lots of wall ball, take a hundred or so shots every day, pick up your stick and cradle whenever you get a chance to. Also practice dodges and passing/shooting on the run.

WALLBALL!!!

Set up some cones or anything like that, and dodge them. Try not to drop the ball. If you do, make yourself do pushups or run a lap. That way you won't to drop the ball.

wall ball with BOTH hands and if you go for runs as conditioning bring your stick with you and cradel BOth hands and practise dodges. ya you will look like an idiot running down the street dodgeing air but you will get better

naver take your gloves off. get used to throwing with them on. and before you get consistent at using your dominant arm, practice with your weaker one. keep them at the same skill level all the time, always work on both.

i work mainly on my stamina...Besides doing wall ball and cradeling

u should probably first just concentrate on cradeling, then wall ball and shooting, then dodging and get someone to play D on u

endurance and stamina are really big factors when it comes to playing lacrosse you should work out alot before the season begins

yeah... everyone else had pretty good suggestions.. but hers are the best. personnaly i suck with my left hand, and i regret it more and more everyday i spend on the wall practicing. if you learn them together you never have to reverse engineer which takes up soo much time and ritalin...

woah...hes a beginner dude...no need to get into dodges yet.

just practice getting comfy with ur stick. sometimes just playing around with it is the best thing. once you get a good feel for your stick start cradling around and catching. wallball is huge. just bounce a ball against any brick wall you find and catch it. there's still pro players today who do a couple hundred sets of wallball before every game (you don't need to do that many though, heh).

shooting at a developmental age isn't necessary. there isnt much of a need to learn how to crank a 90 mph shot when in the early HS and middle skool levels an average, 30 mph shot will get past most goalies. but if you relaly wanna practice shooting...LEARN BOUNCE SHOTS. trying to shoot one in the top left corner will a) miss b) probably end up being saved.

also try to learn some good habits. like with ground balls, try to lower your entire body down and scoop through. don't rake the ball back and pick it up. besides that, your coaches should tell you the right and wrong things to do.

Try not to use abbreviations in excess, it's annoys people. And it's much harder to read. My advice: Work on your non-dominant hand just as much as your dominant hand (considering you have two arms...). Like V-cut said, you'll regret not doing it later.

work with ur strong hand for a few days... and then start to use ur weak hand at ALL TIMES... after a while go back to using ur strong hand, u wont forget how to use it, its where ur natural talent is... but the number one thing i think is working on ur weak hand... all ur stick skills

i agree with liveforlax. also make sure to work on shot accuracy more than speed.
