ive seen pics of them, havent used one yet but it seems like itd be weird. Like youd have to angle your hands different. Also ive heard it increases shot speed a lot. any imput?

Go to your local lacrosse store and see if they have one totally complete (head and shaft) and see if you like it. As for the crankshaft giving you a faster shot, no it doesn't, and if it does, it would be very slight. The crankshaft is a legal way for STX to have offset sticks. I personally haven't tried a crankshaft other than holding one, I don't really like it, doesn't feel comfortable in my hands.

I have a thrust (basically a gait cs) and i really like the feel. It's a lot more comfortable to cradle with, and i feel it helps with fakes. It doesn't increase shot speed, since that is pretty much mechanics, but it might make a slight diiference, like czech said. It feels a little weird at first, but after hitting the wall for a couple of hours, it doesn't make much a of a difference. It's not worth a lot of extraa money IMO, but it's all about your prefernce and what your comfortable with. If anyone you know has it, ask them if you can borrow it for a game to see if you like it.

It is a really bad shaft.
One guy I know has it, and it dents really easy and it throws weird and the offset idea is dumb because you can only use three or four heads on it.

The titanium shaft is amazing. And the price is great.
