I picked up two of these new heads and a brand new C405 shaft and neither head go on. The head stops halfway down and starts to shred the plastic - thoughts?

run the head under hot water for about a minute and run the shaft under cold water at the same time, then try to get the head on.

CS10.....
The CS10 is for the G22 not the excalibur.
Just run the throat of the head under hot water and then put it on the shaft quickly.

do what others have been saying with the hot water...or put a small pot of water on the stove, let it come up in temp, then put the throat of the head in there for a few minutes...it hasnt let me down so far

Yeah man, just run it under some steamy water for a minute or two and try it.
Hate to say it, but search man.
