So I've been playing attack for 4 years now and I just haven't been able to find the right arm pad. I've tried various types and styles but I just can't get the right balance of protection and mobility. I would like to hear from other experienced attack men that have used a product and highly recommend it. Please don't post saying "I heard these were good" I'd really like to hear from people who have tried a product and really like it. Price IS NOT a major issue for me so just give me your honest opinion. Thanks!

I play attack and have for 7 years. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend the K18 Arm Gaurd. (http://www.lacrosse.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=2&pcount=&Product_Id=251982&Key_id=) They break in in less then one game and after that they are incredible. Great mobility and very very protective. They are pretty pricey but might possibly be the best lacrosse investment you could ever make.

edit - I just made a reveiw on them and if it passes check it out.

i have been playing attack for 6 years. right now i have the PC elbow guard 6.0 and the supercross are guard. and i really like both of them. the supercross are soo light and comfortable i really like them and the warriors for me i dont like them as much but they give my arm more protection so i wear them when i play with bigger kids. but if u live by a store. go in and try them all on, cuz it is really preference.

yea i actually work at play it again sports but lacrosse is kinda a newer thing around here and i pretty much own the lacrosse section bc no one there knows a thing about lacrosse so we don't exactly have the highest performing gear...just mostly basics bc that's what sells since most people are new(excluding sticks) but our warrior booking order is coming in so hopefully they ordered some better stuff like i asked. Thanks for the helP!!!

The k18 arm guards are really nice. I have had them for a few months and they are the best I have ever had. They break in pretty fast, have good protection and great mobility. I would recommend them to any attackman.

I recommend Ventilator X ags from Brine(now vent pro, haven't used those). They have hard plastic on them, which makes their protection great. They are also very flexible, hardly restrict movement.

also here is a k18 review

i use the supercross pro AGs and love them. they are so comfortable an protective and mobile. i hear that the rivets fall out but ive only had mine for like 2 weeks so i havent had a problem with that. just dont get the shock doctors, they have no elbow protection and arent comfortable at all.

I would strongly recommend you do not get warrior arm pads. I have found them to be uncomfortable, and not as protective as they could be. I've also noticed at camp when you use your gear alot in one day, that my AG's would be the only thing not dry, while my other rooms mates stuff was completely dried. These pads are like sponges.

Just my two cents.

I SECOND, THIRD, and QUADRUPLE that motion!! I've been playing attack for going on.....(*counting*)....10 years, and the K18's are the most perfect arm pads I've ever used. I've had brine, warrior, stx, gaits, geforces, supercrosses, exodus, tons of them I've owned or tried on, and K18's are hands down my #1 recommendation. Expensive yes, but don't worry, you wont care after you put them on and use them. They move without any rubbing, or slowing from friction, totally effortless motion, and great protection. Some parts of your skin show and can get hit, but suck it up, you're an attackmen! You practically forget they are on in game, cause you will never have to focus on how uncomfortable your pads are again. 1 Year of abuse and they are still working, which is more than I can say for any Geforces I've had or known others to wear, and they would be #2 on my list.

If your an attackman that takes a lot of checks to the arm, you should look at the SuperCrosse Pros. They have plastic plates on the top and bottom of the arm, which provide GREAT protection. I have used them for two years, and I have not felt one check when being hit on the pads. Their awesome.

I don't know why everyone loves ther K18's so much. I HATE mine. Yes they're flexible, but I can never get the straps tight enough. They slide all over on my arm. I even added extra velcro to the straps and they still slide all over the place. I bought larges since I weigh 166, but they fit really loosely on me. I guess I should hit the weights. In the mean time, I'm sticking with my shoguns.

Well yeah if your arms aren't big enough then any arm guard is gonna be bad unless it has a full rap around velcro pad to attach too. I used to have that problem but if you grow more, or start hitting the weights, it should begin to fit right.

Yeah I would go with the K18's ( if they fit your arms ). Ive never tried them out, but I heard they were really nice and I think they look pretty cool too. I wear the Brine Meace AG's and I love them. They take some time to break in, but the protection is outstanding. I also heard the new Adidas AG's are good, but im not sure if I trust Adidas yet.

i personally say the g-forces. im suprised no one has said them yet. they r probably the most flexible arm pads made at the moment, and from my experience with them, they've been very protective. maybe give them a look too.
