Ok this is kinda a weird question so if you dont get it at first I can re-explain it but yeah, just dont spaz.
Ok I wear Defts. just so you know:thumbsup:
Ok heres what I want to know. Where I live the weather sucks and in the winter it gets really cold and wet. My hands get super cold. I was wondering if there was any kind of like football gloves or anything that would keep my hands nice and warm and would fit inside of my defts
Notes:
My palms ARE NOT cut out
They dont need to be water proof but that would be nice
I dont care about feel on the stick
and I just want to know what works for you.
LINKS WOULD BE NICE

in the grand scheme of things, hand warmers aren't all that expensive...i'm pretty sure you can find them cheaper than the link he gave you. check out the hunting section in a local dicks, cabellas, or gander mountain (anywhere you can buy hunting stuff, they'll have them, and they work amazing)
but really just go out to whatever store you can find football gloves at (they should be cheap right now) and buy whatever you think would fit best under your defts.

Just wear white latex gloves.

Everybody on my team did the latex thing too, they all loved it.

Try those cheap, cotton(?) stretchy gloves that you see mostly girls wear during the winter. They do a good job for warmth & you still have good stick feel.

Most sports shops sell football gloves. They're real thin leather, made for receivers primarily to help with grip, expecially in wet weather. Take your gloves down to your local and try them out. Shouldn't cost too much I'd think.

thre are like reusable handwarmers that you just warm up and should stay for an hour or so? depending on how long our practices or whatver are that could be an option?

i woudl say the latex gloves as said previously and why do they work because they don't let you sweat evaporate...it is the same kind of idea as the coldgear underarmour...it keeps all your sweat from evaporating and allowing your body heat to warm up the sweat therefore keeping you warm This is coming from Wisconsin thats what alot of the guys on my team do and a box of surgical latex gloves isn't terribly expensive and can be reused

haha i remember this goofy kid on my team who showed up to practice in a turtle neck and leather gloves under his actual gloves...i would say football gloves or latex

Latex gloves are the way to go. They keep the warmth in and are extremely thin, so they definitely fit under your defts. They're also cheap and you won't look like a complete fool with them on.

just go to a sports store and look in the ski section
they should have cotton liner gloves or liner gloves made of similar material to liner socks
where i usually ski, there are a lot of rope tows so i just use them under leather work gloves and they work pretty well under lax gloves
it is really bad when they get wet, so latex gloves could be better

our team did the latex thing last year when we played a really cold game and it worked great. it just feels a little werid but definitely keeps you warm.

Great way to meet friends. Getting back to the gloves....
Try string knit gloves, with PVC-dipped palms, PVC dots, or plain (http://www.dawginc.com/industrial-safety-products/pvc-dipped-string-knit-gloves.php).
These are thicker than latex or nitrile examination gloves, but they fit under lacrosse gloves. These are not the old floppy work gloves, but knit ones that are a snug fit on the hands. They are absolutely dirt cheap; the ones with PVC-dipped palms cost 50 cents per pair when bought 216 pairs at a time, and plain ones are 20 cents per pair when bought 300 pairs at a time. You can buy them in smaller quantities at any store where house paint is sold, as painters wear these. The ones with PVC-dipped palms are good for bicycling, working on the car, opening jammed windows, and so forth.
If it's cold, try PolarfleeceŽ (http://www.polartec.com/polarfleece/) or other synthetic fleece gloves. You can find these at skiing and snowboarding shops, surplus stores, or Ross Dress for Less-type stores.

I didn't like latex gloves. Granted the temp was hovering near zero, but the sweat pooled in the glove (it couldn't evaporate). The sweat in the glove began to freeze. That's not good.
So I bought a pair of rifle gloves (hunting section at dicks). They are prefect super thin and pretty nice comfort. Under Armor even makes a pair or rifle gloves that fit perfectly under gloves.

try wide receiver gloves... they are thin, and should keep your hands relatively comfortable...

Try some cold weather golf gloves. They're be thinner and warmer than football gloves.

i can honestly say that gloves under gloves is just a bad idea all together cause when u put them in you get a tighter feel then your usually used too, and u usually don't get enough feel on the stick, also when you take the gloves out for when it gets hotter your gloves will have a looser feel then before cause the gloves before expanded them out, so the best thing to do would be to just suck it up and keep ur hands warm by moving around a lot or just play indoors
