So in honor of Halloween today, the second Batman, "The Dark Knight" has released a new viral marketing advertisement. It is the website http://www.whysoserious.com.

As far as I can tell, you click on one of the little pictures, and it mentions a city name, and directions on how to get somewhere, and once you get to this place, you take a picture, and upload it to the website, and you're supposd to get something in return...

...so I'm proposing we work together. Click around until you find your city (I'm from Pittsburgh) then follow the directions, take a pic, upload it, and tell us what you have found and if you get anything in return...

I'm so pumped for The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger is supposedly an awesome Joker and takes him back to his psychotic killer roots  . Woop Woop! So get out there and start hunting! :guns:

I'm pretty sure we're looking for letters by the way.

Actually I think you have this wrong. I think all the letters, were found at the places described. At the S from the Sheraton logo it states "it will be wreathed like ceasar"...and thats exactly what the logo looks like.

And the one of Miami, in Miami...I think those are just where the pictures were taken. Thats why is says "found by."

I had it part right. All the letters were already found, but the little scraps around were still missing..however, now they've all been found and spell out:
"The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules." Now, if you click it, you can see a pic of the Joker and hear a little sound clip, and if you click the picture again there are more instructions. Sorry if my directions were unclear earlier.

its something called viral marketing. they put up these websites that are like puzzles, and they slowly reveal stuff about the film. these sites are set up to make it look like the Joker is recuiting people to do stuff for him, and in return we get stuff (hopefully a new trailer)

this http://movies.ign.com/articles/831/831681p1.html might help you all with understanding.
