im not good, but i have a great reach, im 6'1" with some really lanky arms and legs. i've got an official sized table on top of my 8 foot air hockey table, i just gotta find a better net to latch onto the table.

i'm pretty good. we have a ping pong club at my school, and i'm probably the thrid or fourth best there. there is definitely a top five, and we are all pretty evenly matched, but obviously some are better than others...
i use a donic J.O. Waldner Light with Donic Easy-Slick rubbers, or a Donic Senso Persson Powerplay with Donic Varlo Mach 1 rubbers.

I like to play "Pain Pong" more than "Ping Pong." You play to 17 points, switching off the server whenever the scores added up reach a multiple of 3, the loser of 4/7 games has to take off their shirt and let the winner slap them on the back 10 times as hard as they wish.
I'm good at ping pong, better at pain pong (more motivation), I can usually beat all of my friends, except for 1, whenever I want.

I used to play Table Tennis I wouldn't say competitvely, but I took it serious. I never did any tournaments or anything of that nature, but I went to a club and played hours there. My racquet was a butterfly(can't remember) and I saved up $160 to buy it. I can't remember what the racquet was, but the grip was Bryce FX. Now, I have two table tennis tables sitting in my basement with absolutely no use for over 2 yrs......

I'm good at "sting Pong"
Almost like what Lax Crazy said but you play til 21 and if you loss a point you put your back to your opponet and your butt to the table then the winner of the point gets to hit you with the ball. (Providing your opponet had good aim) The opponet has to be on one side of the table and you at the other. It stings and welts up pretty bad if you play against someone with a hard hit and decent accuracy.

We play sting pong at lacrosse camp. There's a table in the campus games room, so we play the same as ML_LAX's rules but you face the hitter and cover your face and manregion.

my old gym teacher plays obcessively. i think he's been around for 11 years in verona. he hasn't lost a single game of table tennis to anybody. nobody has even pushed it over 11.
as for me, i play for fun whenever theres a table to play on. i'm decent for a beginner i guess

me and some friends used to play "Polish PingPong" where if you get a point scored on you, you have to lift up your shirt over your head, and they get to take a shot at you with the ball, it stings if they are good. Play until someone quits
Its fun

i am not allowed to play table tennis anymore. not since last month with the infamous table tennis accident at my house. i was having a party in my basement, where my table is. me and my friend were playing, both of us are pretty high up there in skill level, we get into it. so it was a tight game, we were both fighting hard. he smashes one to the left, i just barely return it. then he gives me a little lollipop to the right. i get over just in time, and smash it to the left right past him, so i got the point. however, i was sprinting full speed, and i was unable to slow down even as i approached the wall. i hit the wall and went right through it. so there is now a large hole in my wall, about 4 feet in diameter. my parents have forbade me from playing table tennis until the wall is fixed and the table has been moved to prevent this from happening. it's already like 4 feet from the wall, it really can't fit anywhere else that will give it more space from the wall. oh well. once it's fixed, it'll be quite a story to tell people about why the wall is uneven in that spot.

While I've always enjoyed it as a fun diversion (my neighbors used to have a table) I've never been that serious into it. However, one of my favorite movies of all time is Ping Pong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ping_Pong_%28film%29). My sophomore roommate in college brought it back from his junior year abroad and we got hooked on it, I later wound up importing my own copy. You really get into all the characters
