Michigan beat Michigan state today! Since I live in Detroit, it's a big thing. Plus my mom went to U of M so... I'm a U of M fan! yay!!!

The score was 28 to 24, State was in the lead for the whole second half until michigan came back and beat em up!

that gvsu loss means nothing. it was exhibition, all the walk ons were playing, and its a close game every year because msu doesnt take it seriously. either way, major props to gvsu, but msu will still contend for a bball national championship.

onto the football. i was there since ive got season tickets, and im extremely disappointed. we played like crap in the first half, and then we played amazing for the entire third quarter and 8 minutes of the fourth quarter. then for the last seven minutes, the defense absolutely blew, and we just couldnt recover. very disappointing, but when youre an msu football fan, you begin to expect it.

i agree with you james. i know there are exceptions, like petejobu, but in my experiences, most michigan fans are extremely cocky and dont know when to shut up. and mike hart saying what he said after the game just adds to my anger. i dont care who you are or what youve done, you dont go around saying stuff like that. ever.

i dont have the quote next to me, but the reporter asked him what was going through his head when msu went up 24-14, and he said that he was laughing the whole time. he compared it to when youre playing youre little brother in basketball and you give him the lead on purpose to make him feel good, but then take it right back because youre so much better than him.

That means nothing, last year Big Ten had 3 in the Top 10. Those things change so fast.

You obviously just have a personal thing against Mike Hart. He hasn't rushed for less than 100 yards this year. He has 12 touchdowns in 8 games. He guaranteed a win, and they won.

It's funny how Billicheck is an idiot and everybody says "He is just defending himself and his team because of the cheating scandal", but when Hart takes one step out of line he is at fault. No, I guess it doesn't make it credible if a team in that conference puts out the most first round picks, most overall picks and most active players in the NFL, which I'm not sure, but I heard it's the step up from college football?

I realize not every michigan fan has a party when michigan wins. I have also met obnoxious state fans. They exist at every college. What I am saying is that michigan fans are so proud that they win, but they should win. It really isnt a suprise when they do. They have much better recruits, they are actually ranked. Unlike Michigan state.

Apparently you didn't see his 2 HUGE runs which set up Michigan TDs. OR when he saved the game when Ryan Mallett fumbled. He does carry the team, watch a Michigan game before you make that statement.

As for the SEC having more teams ranked who cares? There is an SEC bias in the polls and you would be out of your mind to argue that. Florida was in the top 20 with a 5-3 record. LSU has yet to beat a good team convincingly since they beat Va Tech but yet they are ranked ahead of Oregon who dismantled the #4 team in the country this weekend. Tennessee got ripped by Cal and Alabama. And Alabama has beaten no good teams either. Tim Tebow being in the Heisman race still mazes me. The SEC bias in college football is amazing.

For the record I do agree with the statement the SEC is the best conference in college football.
