I have a problem with my ventxs and I'm wondering if anyone has the same problem:
I've had them for about 3 years, and about 6 months ago I started getting cuts on my arm where the pads are protecting. At first i thought it was just from getting hit, but after some investigating I realized that the plastic part of the pad was cutting my arm every time I got hit. It's really annoying.
Now I'm looking at the shogun Arm Guard, and I've got 2 questions (well, more like 4):
Is it a good pad?
Is it flexible, lightweight and protective?

Hasn't happened to me. Is there anything sticking out of the inside lining?
Why don't you cut off the part that is bothering you?

the shogun arm guards are really nice. i sometimes forget im wearing them (like ill be looking for my armpads after a game and im still wearing them).
they are somewhat protective. they do have some durability issue though. the "leather" they use kind of disintigrates over time.

i get little cuts on my elbow from my vent x's sometimes, but i just walk it off cause i'm a man.
but seriously, ive had 2 pairs of vent x's, and when that starts to happen, it usually means its time for new AP's...
so i got 2 words for you man: Ventilator Pro's

I think I'm going to go with the shoguns.
I like the protection of the ventxs but they pinch your arms alot.
The vent pros look like they might avoid the problem, but are they worth the extra 15 bucks over the shoguns?

mabye your vents are too small and pinching your arms

As for the ventxs being too small, they are definitely not too small, but the problem might be a result of about 4 years of regular use.
About the g-force: I've heard they are similar to the Shoguns.
In reguards to the k18: 100 bucks. That's a lot of cash for a pair of arm guards.
I can't try anything on because the nearest lax store is 40 minutes away and there selection is verrry small.
If anyone has any experience with the venilator pros that would be awesome.
