I thought i would consolidate a thread on all the new helmets to ask those who have ACTUALLY tried them on to post reviews and comments. I think we would all want to know weight, comfort, sightlines, etc. I am also throwing a mini poll up on which one you would buy... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2055/1799761686_f32a6f8e88.jpg?v=1193751651

Isn't the new Cascade the Pro7? Anyway, I'd stay with my CPX, but if I were getting a new one, I'd get a Pro7.
EastCoast: They only make the black Tungsten mask. It feels as light as a CPX Ti, according to Cascade. Something about the way that the weight is shifted on your head. I believe it's more to the back so it feels lighter than it really is.

I tried on the venom. I hated it. The vision was bad. Its mask is a ripoff of the triumph, but they bars are closer together; thus giving less field vision. I'd wear my triumph over the venom any day.

Is that a visor in the Venom? There's a shiny brown bit going where your eyes would go.
thats the padding on the back of da helmet
i honestly would get the riddell. It looks very good and I'd rather have abit more safety, cuz in the long run your head matters alot.

If I had to choose one of the 3 I'd definitely pick the c7. It looks awesome, and it's made by cascade. However I still like the look of the Triumph over all of them.
I've never really noticed how much Riddell integrated the inside of a football helmet into their lax helmets.

were getting c7s so i don't have much of a choice, but i don't mind the riddell

lightest is the new cascade.
most protective is the riddell that has taken major steps to make a better looking helmet.
I know nothing of the new warrior lid

i would get the pro7(i'm pretty sure a c7 is spicy chicken with rice) because of teh new padding and light weight

Cascade always has good helmets. Good look, good options, always had one (I bought a stryke once, which worked well). The warrior is ugly, the Ridells aren't too bad, certainly a different look, and (though not an '08) the Identity is for any team looking to stand out.
I think I'll stick with my CPX though, for money and team reasons, but I voted CP7.
Wheres the Brine helmet???
The warrior helmet is too big, and the riddell is too heavy. id take the c7
