Cause I don't want to scroll down half a mile to read something halfway interesting.

True, but a little more sig space would be nice, even two more lines would be great.
Avvy's should be the same size dimentions but have a higher kb/mb allowance. Like 9 kb is prety small, either its a small avvy or a very undetailed one.

True, but if everyone had huge avvy's with flash it could take ages to load pages for people on dial-up.

Big sigs and avatars waste space (both in the server, and on the actual forum page), they add little to nothing to a conversation, and are not the point of this message board. They go against everything TLF and IL stand for.
That being said, there have been 30,000 members on this forum who found a voice for themselves without a larger sig. Give it a try, you'll find one too.

Sigs and avatars are a big part of the forum? hmm, I never relised that, thanks for opening my eyes.
I find big sigs annoying, there's no need for larger maximum space in my opinion, the big sigs take from the threads because you get distracted from the posts, and I'd rather not go through multiple unneeded pages with out alot of posts on them due to the sigs.

Yup.
I go on a guitar-related forum where there are no rescrictions, and some are very very large. Because of this the pages are just as long as TLF, but there are only 20ish posts per page. (and there are threads with 200+ pages...)
I'd rather have a small sig instead of searching through countless pages of text. Plus, some are like this:
MY THREAD (Insert hyperlink)
BUY IT
MY GEAR:
etc
etc
Now who wants that?
Basically, It's an online forum. How much room do you really need?
Spenny said it in one post, your here to post about lax (and non-lax for the open forum) so do that.

Put the "The Lacrosse Forums :: Lacrosse Rules And Officiating" at the bottom too so we don't have to go back to the top to click out.

Now thats a good suggestion. Can you PM or email that to the IL tech team? I would do this myself, but unfortunately, if I tinker with the code, no one will have TLF.
