I have a C-Pro and it is in bad shape. I dont know if I should get another C-Pro or if I should get a CPX titanium. Is the CPX a good helemt, reliable and strong?

No need for the CPX-Ti. The CPX Chromanium is a great helmet, and very light. You might also want to look into the new Pro7, which has (supposedly) better protection from concussions.

Yeah, I agree with Maki, go with the CPX. I have both the regular CPX and a CPX Ti and I can say that there are not many differences between the two. The CPX Ti feels alot lighter but I think that it is quite tight around where the facemask attaches to the shell.

yes the cpx is a great helmet and you wont be dissapointed. But titanium is only 1 oz lighter than chrome yet 100$

go with the cpx titanium or the pro 7, but it does depend on what level your playing. The pro 7 has a tungsten face mask which i believe is one of the strongest metals so its good for goalies and its also a little cheaper then the cpx. But if its between the 2 go with the cpx titanium

Has Cascade had a history of defects? Brine is obviously known for its share of problems with their helmets, but if there was any company that I would trust with a brand new helmet, it would be Cascade. I don't think I've ever actually heard of a recall on a Cascade lacrosse helmet.
Anyways, that being said, I just switched from a Cpro to a CPX Ti, so far I have no complaints. My old Cpro face mask had seen its better days, but I think my Ti will hold up for years to come. I suppose if you're buying it with your own money though, you might want to consider how long you actually plan on using this helmet. If you're going to use it for more than a year or two, the Ti might not be a bad investment.

It's about a 6oz difference:

but I think the actual difference while playing is insignificant as well. And my chrome mask has held up great after 2 years.
