I know that there are a two stickies for custom and mesh string jobs in the stick doctors lounge but I have a suggestion. What if every person that was an active member of the SDL had there own stringing megathread. It seems that everyone makes a thread for most of their string jobs and then posts them in the stickies so it seems like there is a lot of clutter in the SDL that is unneeded. If everyone had one thread for their string jobs then they wouldn't end up posting the 20 threads that they would have made later on. I think it will take away a lot of clutter.
How does this sound?

I think that if they string that many pockets then they should just post in the mesh string job megathread or the custom megathread.

No not everyone would sticky their thread. Sorry if I came off like that.

no like a sticky named users stringing threads
then in the thread people posted their indivual thread links
like the tutorial thread

Yeah, I get what Buzz is saying.
A single sticky, where users could post a link to THEIR OWN stringing mega-thread. And the rest of the forum would have regular threads, some questions, some user mega-threads.

ah i gotchaa, what we really need to put a stop is all the people that string the same mesh job over and over again

this seems like a good idea, kinda like the suggestion posted a while ago for the fs/wtb feedback, which also was a good idea

Pretty sure I did this waaay back when. I only posted 1 pocket in it, but thats because of situations that are out of my control.
Just in case people dont believe me, here it is: http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=79633 Did this way back in April lol.

Yea I think it would be good if people could do what talent just posted. If a mod could post what the chances could happen or something like that then that would be great

i think the idea is pretty good.
combining all your stringings into one thread.
but im not sure if it'll reduce clutter. it depends on the number of people who create their thread, and the number of thread posted in the SDL normally.

i think it would be much more easier to create a website where you can host pictures with captions and titles. Like some sort of online photo album. Then put a link to that album in a signature type thing that shows up under your posts. I'm pretty sure i just save like a billion dollars( canadian so thats like 1.07 billion US).

I think it would reduce clutter a ton, for example; murder you have 10 threads in which you posted just mesh jobs with simple variants, and you are probably still going to post them right? Say you were to post about 8 new threads while you were on TLF, if this idea went through you would only have to make one and that would save about 7 threads just from one user.
