Yeah they should deffinitely be up there, and if they do go undefeated I don't see how they can deny them a chance to play for the National Championship

They have a tough test against Oklahoma State this week, but they are looking good this year. Reesing and McAnderson are SICK.

I don't think I would call Ok State a tough test. They are not very good at all this year. Anway, Kansas deserves all the credit they get. They are in the Big 12 and have pretty much owned all their competition especially Nebraska. Although if they do run the table and Oregon and LSU or OSU are left with either one loss or OSU undefeated, I think one of those three should go to the National Title game before Kansas does. And Oklahoma is still looming ahead of Kansas.

Don't get me wrong, Ohio State is playing in a weak conference also, and I don't think they deserve to be a national championship team. If they do win out, (they will lose to UM), they will get dominated in a NC game much like last year's beat down.

Don't rip on the Big 12 north, because I am sure that you have not seen either of these teams play. Did you watch Mizzou dismantle Texas Tech, Nebraska, or Colorado? Did you watch Kansas kill almost every team theyve played besides Colorado and A&M? Don't try and tell me West Virginia, BC, or ASU should be there because all three of those teams are overrated.

No. by year of the upset, I mean big teams are getting upset by smaller teams, not that these teams are deserving to the NC. Just cause a team like Oklahoma, WVU, or LSU got beaten by a smaller team, that should not keep them out of a title game.

First off, you beat Kansas State really that is a major win? You won by 6 not a real big win, and it was actually a very close game.

Colorado is an awful team and you beat them 19-14, whereas Mizzou won 55-10?

Nebraska scored 39 against you and you gave up over 500 yards to a backup quarterback

Mizzou- beats number 25 ranked Nebraska 41-6 when Nebraska was still in the hunt. We also beat Texas Tech 44-10 and our defense held the number one offense at the time to 10 points. Our loss was to Oklahoma and until the Chase Daniel bad snap we were in the game, but went down late.

You guys have an easy schedule and are beating bad opponents congrats


PS: You will be out of the talk and out of the top 15 with a loss the Oklahoma State team this weekend


Play a decent opponent (Mizzou) and you will clearly see how good your team actually is. Have fun watching Mizzou play Oklahoma because there is no way in hell you are beating us.

Tood Reesing is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, and he is one of 15 semi-finalists for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. They have two good running backs in McAnderson and Sharp, good wide receivers, and a solid defense. Kansas is not going anywhere on the DI college football scene. They are here to stay. I am not saying they are going to win the National Championship, but they are not about to fall back into the depths of DI's worst teams. It is people like you that fuel Kansas' fire. first of all, name one reason why we will lose to OSU? because they are from the south and we are from the north? there is no other conclusion i can come to. they are a good team with mostly a good offense. their defense is weak and as shown last week KU takes advantage of that. Reesing is making the best decisions i have seen by a college qb in awhile. not to mention mangino and his boys offensive scheme is remarkable. those saying KU is trash...have any of you watched a ku game? they pick a part defenses play by play and hold texas am(at the time 7th ranked rushing offense in the nation)to only 74 yards and their RB to only 23 yards....do not say we are trash. Mizzou is a good team as well and i think it will be a high scoring game. As much as i love tony temple i think KUs rushing d will shut him down and daniel will be forced to pass too much is the 2nd half. with athletic LBs and all american corner talib, i think theyll force turnovers that will be the deciding factor in the game. KU football is growing as we speak because i believe we are getting a 5 star saftey coming in and a stud linemen from Tulsa, OK. with sharp and reesing returning the next 2 years, this team you guys call trash will be around for awhile.

with OK state and mizzou comin up, my prediction is that KU will freefall with 2 losses in their last three games just like South Florida(who?) did after they were ranked #2 and they lost 3 straight to rutgers, uconn, and cincy. One thing people don't realize is that even if Kansas finishes the regular season undefeated, they have to play in the Big 12 Championship. The regular season doesn't end with Missouri. Also, like HawkletLax said, Kansas isn't going anywhere. The majority of the starters are freshman, sophomores, and juniors. We're not just a basketball school anymore.

The way that Kansas scores, I am going to assume that they play in a spread offense. Correct me if I'm wrong. Mizzou's defense practices against the spread daily, probabaly against one of the most efficient offenses in the nation. Why do you think that we performed so well against Texas Tech? Because our defense sees one of the best offenses in the country everyday. Kansas may put up there points, but Mizzou has such a more efficient, I can't really find the right word idk, offense. The two best tight ends in the country in Martin Rucker and Chase Coffman. Incase you missed the MU-Colorado game the link is at the bottom. Chase Daniel, very accurate, can make bad decisions, but usually limits them. also agile. Just wait once KU faces a REAL offense they'll find out what's up. I really hope they go into the game undefeated, it will be payback for 1969, i think is the year, when that happened to Mizzou.

yeah, buddy thats exactly what it is: A PREDICTION... I think that OSU will fall to Michigan. If I am wrong, then fine, I am wrong, but you cant base how much I know off of a prediction. If so, then there is no analyst in any sport that knows anything.

I haven't been a huge fan of Kansas, mostly a Florida State fan, but I'am completely amazed what they have accomplished. Basketball... oh yeah. Football... HECK yeah. I mean more than 70 points against Nebraska? WOW, though the Nebraska team is gong down hill, I'm still stunned about what they did against them. Wow, first of all let me say this kansas is a decent team but in mind is no way in deserving of a national title game. They have the 113th weakest schedule in d1! Next kansas state is playing awful this year losing to iowa state and a absolutely terrible nebraska team. None of the games kansas has played have been against a present top 25 team. And you know when you think about it if kansas where to play a team such as lsu, florida, or ohio state, would you predict them to win, no you wouldnt. Basicly the whole point is kansas is ddecent and have won all their games they were expected to win but does not deserve a BCS title game as much as some other harder fought schools.
