I have had a hard time forming pockets with the sticks i have strung...can anyone give me an idea on how...its been getting really frustrating because i want to form a good channel and ive been getting just bags :evil:

it would help if you posted pictures, it might just be your sidewall pattern, search next time theres alot of threads on this kinda stuff.

haha believe it or not but i use a bowling ball and it creates a wicked nice pocket. well to stretch it out and what knot

i normally just pound it alot after i stretch and string but like it doesnt help cause i need a channel in there

not necessarily, its all about where he doubles up and interlocks and stuff too. loose sidewalls will give you a big really inconsistent bag. get pictures of your head and well be able to help alot more.

sorry, youre right. i didnt mean loose, just doubling up. keep sidewalls as tight as possible.

how come when done stringing a nice stick in like a week the pocket get all flimsy again and it sucks- how do i keep its shape and the mesh staying strong etc.
