View Full Version : Motorola Q9 vs. Razr 2

I am upgrading my phone, and price isn't an option for Verizon. I currently have the original Razr and my dad just got his Razr 2. Its the exact same menu and features basically, just different outside. I have the Razr 2 sitting on my desk right now still in the box, so I can return it. My question is should I consider the Q9? Is not having a flip phone bothersome? What do you think is a better phone for basic use (text, phone, tetris, general coolness factor, and functionality)?

razr2 is a waste period.
Q9 has more memory and it will be eisier to text because it doesnt flip ( school purposes)
i just got the samsung 740 and i can text faster than anybody with it because of the qwerty keyboard so mabey you should put qwerty keyboard on your list
the enV is also a great texting phone. a kid on my hockey team texts on the bench. thats how effective the qwerty keyboard is.
theyre all cool phones you just have to find which one is best for what you do with them

You can wait a little bit to get the Voyager
full qwerty texting

touch screen outside
full html browser
up to 8gb expandable memory
the mobile tv verizon has
I think it will be at least 400, but you could wait for the first price drop and maybe there will be some bugs they have to fix.
Google/youtube it if you haven't heard of it, and it should be out within a couple weeks
2 weeks til the voyager, peeps. i got one last week and it is pretty cool.

ESPN - Are you allowed to post pics? I would love to see some
mainly interested in the browsing..I haven't actually seen it on any videos on youtube
or if you know of a link that shows it that would be equally cool

the enV is not a very good phone. It is nice with the full qwerty keyboard and 2.0 mp camera, but it was only good for texting. The AIM buddy list can only carry 30 buddies and the web is not full featured. I use my sidekick 3 for texting, aim, and internet and only use the enV for calling lol. I am trying to get rid of the enV for a simpler phone though, anyone interested?
