Ipod Touch vs Ps3

I already got the okay from a mod to make this thread.


I want a Ps3 becuase I want to play some cool games on it and, it has intenet built in that's all I really want.

But the Ipod Touch has wireless internet and is portable which I want, but I dont know which one to buy which one would you think would suit me best.

coming from somone who has xbox360 and ps3 the xbox has way more games to play. the ps3 is nice though

I have an iPhone, and while the internet is great and all, it's not the quickest thing on the market. The iTouch can ONLY connect to a Wi-Fi connection. Meaning, you have to intercept someone's wireless internet signal, if you don't have wireless, and your school doesn't etc etc. then you don't have internet. Second of all... why would you get a PS3 when you could get a 360? Not trying to start a war here, but PS3 online sucks. PERIOD. Yes I have played it, yes, it does suck.

Why would you want to buy a PS3 just for the internet?.. sorry this really isn't making sense for me, the 360 has MUCH more games, MUCH more marketplace downloads, tv shows, videos to watch, basically more fun. lol.
PS3 doesn't stand a chance to either, like ESPN said,

That is all you need to reference. I have an iPhone and 360 and a Wii. I might change it too like:
360>iPhone>iTouch>Wii>PS3

But basically it's a fight over 360 and iphone, other then that... PS3 sucks and that's about it. I had one, but hated it and sold it on Ebay. No games, didn't really have much to offer, and still doesn't.

EDIT: I guess the only thing the PS3 really has to offer, is sports games, if you like shooters, go with 360. If you really like sport games go with PS3... but even then...

Just to let you know I'm going with the Touch.

My friend has a PS3, and it's awesome. But, you can get the same things from a 360, and it doesn't look like a grill. lolz.

i'd go with a ps3, just because an i touch doesn't offer too much...
ps3 is fun has great games, and has a great holiday lineup.
don't want to post it all here, but pm me about ps3 games etc. I have a list but it's too long to post.
and I have to disagree with the fact that the online sucks. yes I've played live. Yes it is better, but psn is a) not too far behind, and b) FREE!
