View Full Version : clutch C&C on sidewall holes used
guys,
let me know what you think of these 2 jobs.
one of them is a 10 diamond across, the other a nine diamond across.
one of them has the sidewall starting in the same hole as the start of the top string, the other has the sidewall starting below the hole used for the topstring.
Also want to know if you leave any hioles in the frist holes 106 vacant and only used for your shooters.
Pics provided in next post. Cant seem to get pics to attach to this post????

Both look great. I'm just wondering what your shooter setup is?
in the pic with the two heads, I have nylon shooters in one of them, the other I installed no shooters because I was looking for feedback. I prefer nylon over laces. I like the crispness, and snap of nylon.
Any tips or ideas?
more pics of 9 diamond and 10 diamond for feedback on useage of first 6 holes, and do you leave holes blank for shooters.
More details for C&C
the clutch with shooters is the 10 diamond across the top.
The sidewall strings start and go through the same outer diamonds that are used for the topstring (2 uses in same hole).
The one with no shooters is a 9 diamond across the top.
The sidewall strings begin in the second diamonds down, rather than starting and sharing the top outer diamonds like the 10 diamond job does.
Would also like thoughts on how I begin the top string on each job. They are different.

wat do you mean 9 and 10 diamond mesh? there's only 10/9 mesh.
the way I folded the mesh on top left 9 diamonds on one of the heads (top row only) and the way I folded the mesh on the other one left 10 diamonds across the top.
