restrung my evo 2.0. c+c

ok so i pretty much restring this thing like every week cuz i can never get the pocket the way i want it.s so i finally got it how i like it. here it is. it has little whip, pretty good hold, sick shot and pass, and all that other good stuff. tell me wut u guys think

when i first looked at it i was like woah thats some splash of color. i like the dye job a lot. chucktown is right, theres no channel in it

Maybe if you did regular sidewalls, and you also double uped lower, then you'd get more of a channel. But it's still a clean string job.

throws really good, smooth release, like i said... minimal whip. i like it a lot

looks good. The dye isnt amazing, but it isn't bad. One thing I noticed is when you put two strips of tape side by side, you didnt fill the overlap with hot glue. That is why there are the lines on the head (on the scoop and the throat). Also, the 'M' is sloppily cut out.

The stringing is good, but I would have given it at least a little bit of a channel. It's not fundamentally wrong, but a channel can give you more hold and make your stick more accurate. It also reduces ball rattle.

I really, really don't like that dye. The squiggles are sloppy and the blue runs into the yellow often. Great string job though.

hey guys got a question bout my evo 2.0.... im used to playing with my pp and it has little to no whip.. and i just got an evo 2.0 from my friend and im having trouble stringing it how i like and it has a good amount of whip...any tips on how to eliminate whip from this head?

Have a shallow, low pocket. Don't use any U shooters. Not much else you can do to eliminate whip.

Do u think just adding a nylon will help? and are there any specific ways to string the sidewalls on the evo so u can get a high pocket

Nylons are mainly used for eliminating lip (the ball hitting the plastic of the scoop). I don't have an Evo 2.0 myself, but simply double up high in the head and don't double up near the bottom (forcing the pocket up high). You could also use double sidewalls which makes pocket placement very easy.
