Soft-Uncoated hard mesh, forms a great pocket, but bags up when it gets wet. For beginers.
Hard-Easy to break in, the best mesh out there. Great in all weather. I love it
Catapultion-Coated American Mesh, double thickness of reg. hard mesh. Hard to break in, but once it does, its a beast. Most durable mesh.
American-Double thickness soft mesh (uncoated). Holds its pocket in wet weather better then soft mesh.
8 Diamond-Good in all weather, realitivly hard to break in. Good shot speed, ok hold.
7 Diamond-Harder to break in than 6 diamond, but increases shot speed. Loses a little bit of hold.
6 Diamond-Kind of easy to break in, very easy to string. Compromise between hold and shot speed. My personal favorite.
5 Diamond-Easiest of Diamond styles to break in. Great hold, but tends to suffer in shot speed. Easiest to string.
Mini mesh-No hold at all. Great shot speed, don't use it in games.
Traditional stringing-Very hard to string. If you don't mind matinance its great for you. Good shot speed and hold. Nothing else gives it the feel it does. Tends to be heavier then mesh.
Custom stringing-For the player who likes to be different. Heaviest of all stringing. You really have to try them to see if you like them (RP, Heat, etc). I personaly don't love them, but I don't hate them.

Hope this helps.

It completely depends on how you string it, but mini mesh, customs/trad, or 10d are the best probably for speed

King, what are you trying to say?
For Meshes Mini has the fastest shot, if you go on e-lacrosse, they have this crazy pocket they made, it increased the shot speed by like 5mph. Trad with nylons instead of leathers has a good shot speed. There was a post about some company called Ulaman lacrosse, who apparently, did that.
