The field diagram in the NFHS book lists a Defensive Area and a Goal Area at the other end of the field. The NCAA book lists a Defensive Area and an Attack Area.

Throughout both books, however, there is inconsistency in the language used.
Some wording describes a team's goal as the one they are attacking while in other places it's the goal they are defending. Sometimes attack players must be behind the defensive area line while in other places they must be behind the
goal area line or attack area line.

Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to be consistent.

I brought that point up a couple years ago myself. It just makes the book more "interesting" if there is a little intrigue.

As I've discovered recently, with pboyd's help, in NFHS it's a guard stop (not a ball stop), and an ejection (not an expulsion).

LR:
Where in the NFHS book are you seeing inconsistency with ejection?
That is the only word used as far as I know....

That was my point: NFHS calls it ejection, while NCAA calls it expulsion.
