so today I was watching football and the cavs vs. the hookies. and the cavs where home and they were playing in a huge stadium and am wondering why do the cavs lax team play at that small field?

just how it is
some schools have fields just for one sport

the field the lacrosse team uses is also used by the soccer team during the fall. if you look closely, you can sometimes still see the soccer lines. the field is kept really nice. i love going up there to watch games

Yeah, lacrosse generally doesn't have the same attendance as football. It's pretty much the same at every other big D1 school.

look at notre dame. they obviously dont play in their stadium, but they have a top-knotch lacrosse/soccer stadium to play in. i like the smaller stadiums much more than the huge football ones. lets be honest, lax wont fill the bleachers and theres a better feeling when the smaller stadiums are packed, rather then have a football stadium not even be half filled.

The only d1 team that actually plays at there football stadium that I can think of is Navy.
