I'm looking for some new middle-high-end gloves and I would like to know, from your experience, which of the following (or other) gloves last a long time.
My current possibilities are:
superfreaks
defts
i-pros
shockers
superstar IIs
g-forces
I've heard good things about stx's durability, and some bad things about brine's durability. I'm leaning towards the i-pros, because i've heard the plates on the g-forces can break. However, if the superfreaks are as durable as the i-pros, I may get them.
I would like to know how long the gloves lasted, and what caused them to fizzle out.

well i have g-forces for a year, and they are going strong. the plates dont crack. (well they do eventually, but its a rare case)
they are kind of stiff at first, but after a few days of practice, they will feel like nothing.

i know Superstar 2's are really durable and really flexible. not many poeple are gonna know if shockers or superfreak 2's are durable cause nobody used it in a season yet. And Defts are durable also. thats our team glove. but i also have Superstar 2's and they are goin strong.

I'm pretty much down to:
deft
i-pro
G-force
I've heard that the defts rip in the thumb area quickly, so i'm waffling between the g-forces and the i-pros. I'm gonna go down this weekend to the local lax store and see if the i-pros fit my needs.
Personally I don't trust warrior equipment, I don't think it's as high a quality as the other companies. I have had Defts for over 3 years, and they are going strong. I've been using them pretty much year round and the ONLY wear is a small hole in the palm at the base of the thumb but I don't even notice it when I play, and it hasn't gotten any bigger. This hole also only occurred after over two years of play. They are also flexible and light. Plus I'm talking about the originals, the one's out now are the second or third generation. I definitely recommend the Defts, especially if durability is a concern. As for the other two gloves, I like STX as a brand but don't have experience with those gloves, although I have had the G-Force arm guards for over 2 years and they are in great condition, no cracks or anything. Bottom line I would recommend the Defts, but I doubt you could go wrong with those choices. And any gloves are eventually gonna rip in the palms, but to help prolong your gloves air them out and I also recommend glove dogs because the mold and mildew is what kills the palms.

This might sound weird, but if you have long fingers, i dont reccomend iPros. they have kinda short fingers on them. and personally, i dont liek the cuff on it either. they are really small, the whole glove is. So i would say Defst or for the same amount Superstar 2's. go to laxnation.com and read the reviews on the superstar 2's and Defts.

i dont know....my friend has those gloves, and he says they are broken in now, and are nowhere near as flexible as my g-forces.

I just bought a pair of ipros and between my fingers tips and the tips of the glove there is some weird material that your fingers push against it feels really akward. Is this how they are intended to be made, or did they come in bad shape?
