Working my way line by line with 2007 book in left hand and 2008 book in right...
page 7 in both books, Index to Editorial Changes, is exactly the same.
Something amiss there....

Looks like someone forgot to do that page, I guess.
I just compared the 2008 book to my notes from the 2007 book. I'm mildly disappointed. There are some good changes that were included without being "grayed," but there are a lot of "no-brainer" changes (cleaning up language to have it say what many of us already know it's supposed to mean) that they passed on.
Also, they avoided clearing up a few mangled rules (stalling, loose-ball personals, and the fact that official equip checks are stuffed in the section on coach-requested checks instead of in their own section).

are there printed ones yet, or is this a prerelease version that will have more changes made to it? thats a pretty serious error, combined with the WLax sticks on the cover makes me think that this was released to teh public before it was ready for prime time

I believe by the time the .pdf is posted the books have already gone to press. I've never seen it change from posting to printing, although we all know that there are often "updates."
