I've done the whole jewelery thing...
And I was kinda stumped this time. But I decided to go to the Body Shop (Dunno if you American's have them?) and get her a gift pack.
She asked me to not spend big on her.... Fine by me!

Also, why do girls always say "You dont have to get me anything" when they know you will get her something?

a brick which you will then proceed to hit her in the face with. ok stupid joke but giftcards always work if u have no clue what they want

My history with girlfriends has taught me one thing. If you don't know what to get her, don't guess, just ask her what she wants.

gift cards, just make sure you put a nice amount on them so she can actually get something she wants

or you can ask her parents what she wants

I'm getting her a camera, a calender from kodakgallery.com with our pictures on it(more for 1 year than christmas), 2 full size light-up penguins(like the reindeer, except penguins) and some other small stuff.

Personally, I had not trouble finding anything for my girlfriend. I just started to think about Christmas about a month after her birthday. Other than that, you can just pick up subtle hints and what they really want. I feel if you are with someone for a long time you should have absolutely no problem finding gifts.

get her something bigger for her birthday, then some smaller stuff for christmas. When it comes to realationships, she wants something bigger on a day dedicated to her.

designer handbag, designer monopoly and some other stuff, probably something from VS. Only reason why I'm spending like 400 bucks this xmas is because she's getting me the xbox360 i want. Even trade I suppose.

Here's the secret:

Ask her parents and friends when they go out shopping. My girlfriend went out with her neighborhood for the day after Thanksgiving; they just pair up and swarm. I called her at like, 3 am and said I had to talk to her friend about something. I told her to look out for what she said she wants.

Sure enough, word travels around back to her mom. Mom went out with her shopping and bought a purse she wanted. I simply gave the money to the mom and voila! Perfect Christmas present!

wat worked for me and she loved it, was to get them something that they need a replacement of. because there always is this one purse or this one something that they cannot live without. and fulfilling her needs will fulfill yours.

All these creative gifts are all great ideas but you honestly cannot go wrong with a turquoise box from tiffany...you can find cheaper stuff for like...a bill or two.

I was thinking about getting mine a ring engraved with both of our initials, but I ended up being against it. The cheapest ring that could be engraved on the Tiffany's website was platinum, and would set me back about 300-350. She all ready thinks that I spent too much on her, so maybe next time? I don't know, but that's why I didn't get anything in that little blue box, too expensive.

My mom got my gf some american eagle perfume without my consent, but she paid for it. But what i am planning on getting her is a little plastic basketball hoop by nerf or something that hooks to the back of your room door and then a little "digital" camera, it doesnt even have a screen, you just take teh pictures then load it to the computer. Took me some time to figure that out.

Never give a girl a ring unless it's to ask her to marry you. Just a rule of thumb. Also don't spend too much money in high school considering you'll go to college and break up with her and then you'll be like, "man I wish I hadn't spent all that money on a girl I'm not with anymore and listened to LiquidMercury because I'm out of money to go to the bar."

So true, bought my high school girl a diamond ring, that money would feel good in the pocket right now.

Get her one of them heart pendants or a charm bracelet....girls love those. You can view by price, so just set it at 100-200 and look from there. Yea, I know the site a bit too well cause I bought a few things for my sister and my moms for christmas.
