Heres all the information you need on the patent. (http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=30527&highlight=maintain+rp)
A thread on RP's. (http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=39771&highlight=maintain+rp)
How to maintain a RP. (http://lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=21777&highlight=maintain+rp)
And all of this information can be found at www.rock-itpocket.com, this thread is somewhat pointless.

Jlancer. that thread is just people's opinions on the pocket and not much info i have organized all the info into one place for everyone's convenience

S-town. yes it is heavy. it is because it has 11 yards of crosslace and longer sidewalls in it

The rocket pockets were around in the early to Mid 80's. I was playing in a tournament at Stanford in '86/'87 and saw a RP on a SL2. The owner of the stick was a player from UCSB, where Flip used to coach.

well i was just looking at the patten for the RP and i noticed the only claim they have on this pocket is its ornamental design for a lacrosse stick pocket and then i looked up ornamental in a dictonary and got "decritive, fancy, ornate, ornament" so correct me if im wrong but that means the only thing pattened about the RP is the pretty look? and if so im not gana lie that is very loose. all of us could patten a pocket on those terms.

link to the actual patten (the one above is to a diff pocket) http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=D318,509.PN.&OS=PN/D318,509&RS=PN/D318,509
