That is the question, what is your team doing for the preseason.
I guess ill answer the question first, my team isn't going to do a second winter because there stupid. But, my coaches want to meet every saturday morning to work on conditioning and team skills. I live in Colorado and its going to be snowy every saturday from now till march so im not sure how good of an idea this is.

lol well i live in houston so snow or cold weather in general isnt much of a problem but yea we are practicing 3 times a week and we do the same drills most of the time that mainly focus on every aspect of the game and then scrimmage for 30 mins, its pretty good deal

My team is going down to Florida for a week, a week before the season starts. We're going to mainly practice and probably scrimmage some FL teams.

We started winter workouts like a month ago, and they're going strong. I only play a fall sport and lacrosse, so I'm one of the few kids hitting the weight room and running most days out of the week. We have some people coming in on different days, but a lot of our players are in winter sports so as soon as those end we will most likely have full team instruction and practices.

Nothing...my team used to have pre season practices for conditioning but eventually less and less people came and now no one goes. Im pretty sure some play indoor. I practice a lot by myself though, I lift weights, Run, Swim and hit the wall everyday. I think im gonna be in the best shape out of my whole team. I got a question though If youre a middie how long should you run to get your endurance up? Considering you run everyday

Personally, I lift M/W/F and participate in speed and agility training on tuesdays and thursdays, with some laxing afterward. Some of my team does to, but a very small amount. The whole team, however, is going down to Florida on spring break for some practices and scrimmages right before the season starts.

We play indoor ball, and full gear team practices twice a week. Most guys, myself included, condition on their own time, however.

We don't do much in preseason because almost all of us play basketball which is a lot of conditioning/time consuming. However, over spring break, our varsity team goes to florida for the week to practice.

During our off-season in the winter we play in various tournaments and also have teams at 2 different indoor centers, playing both of the sessions at each place. Also on Mondays the 9th, 10th, and some 11th graders go to one of the inddor centers (Shoot N' Score, AKA Hopkins Road), to do skills and drills and scrimage for 2 hours. As ya can tell we are busy during the off-season. We will be playing about 3 out of 5 week days after winter break.

When we get back from the holidays which will be on January 2nd we will have our first team meeting. I have been told that we will have indoor practice on Saturday Mornings starting the following week. I live in Massachusetts so it can be rather snowy and cold up here during this time of year.

Yup, pretty much. I'm one of the few that accualy cares on my team.(Because we're a club not varsity. The whole county is a club league, except for Berkishre and St. Joe's.)

is practicing in full gear even legal where you guys play? I'm pretty sure that in CA all you can do with a coach is condition, lift, and work on stick skills. Some guys play w/o a coach (me), but not many.

I guess our team is pretty lucky regarding off season. Several of our players are football, soccer or basketball players and 1/2 our team (6 starters) play for the same Starz team. Our last Starz game will be 2/2, 2 days before the season officially starts

We've been doing indoor since October, and have been doing speed training and lifting since November, along with occasional captains practices. The first day we are allowed to practice is March 10.

we lift m/w/f and then run 3 miles everyday after that. and then tuesday and thursday we run 3 miles and then sprint 20 100's. pretty hard actually. and then we scrimmage for 2 hours on saturday. but we're not allowed to be coached till february 20th so our seniors run the practice.

Basic fundamentals. Such as passing, catching, ground balls, and a little bit about rules of the game. We have a ton of new kids. Cool part about it is that you can see daily improvement, though it's also scary we had that much work to do. We get on the fields tomorrow, and season open in Las Vegas the first of march.
