i want to pm someone and it sayes that i have to reset my settings so i can pm people. and if anyone can show me where it would be great

You probably have private messaging disabled. So, go to the top of this page and click on "View Profile". Next, on the side of the page there is a control panel. Under "Settings and Options" click on "Edit Options". When you have done scroll down the page until you come across "Messaging and Notification". There is a section called "Private Messages" and there is a box that you can checkmark that says "enable private messaging" Obviously you want to check that box. Then scroll down the page and save the changes. Ding!
