2008 NFHS Rules Books Delivered

Came in the mail today from US Lacrosse. Posting this so everyone knows they are on the way.

Cover letter indicated there was a packet of game cards included, which was not, oh well, I use the plastic ones.

They still don't "get" all of the intricacies in officials' statuses. I believe that all COC officials should get a packet of certification cards, but not non-COC officials who do HS and youth. That's probably why you didn't get the cards; they really should have two different cover letters, though.

These rulebooks should be sent automatically to all US Lacrosse officials who (1) renewed membership this fall and (2) selected the "NFHS" option for rulebook or ordered a second rulebook.

i got mine more before christmas, but i'm really close to baltimore (tho i didnt check the postmark to be sure it was sent from there)

Either that or just in the single cover letter clarify they are only going to the COC officials, just as the letter says if you ordered more than one rule book then the quantity you ordered is supplied.

lucky you. Down here in the ATL we have to beg and plead several times to get one even though we requested one on our US Lacrosse renewals. One coach I know has tried for years and he eventually got a 2007 a few weeks ago except it was unexpectedly for girls

this is the first year ive gotten one from USL. in the past its been from our program director.

have him look at the WLax one again. the first version of the mens NCAA rules had WLax sticks on the cover

Update: I just got in a stack of cert. cards in an envelope with no further explanation from USL. I don't know if that means they are sending them out to everyone or if it is just 'cause I sent the email to them asking about them once I got the infamous letter discussed above. But I now understand what LR said, I am not COC and never got them before. I'm not sure if I recall them being mentioned to me before.
