With the Mammoth trailing 8-5 heading into the fourth quarter, Jamie Shewchuk scored back-to-back goals to spark a five-goal outburst as the Colorado Mammoth mounted a fourth quarter comeback to top the Calgary Roughnecks, 10-9, in front of 17,811 fans in the National Lacrosse League season opener at Pepsi Center.

That game was insane, that last ditch effort rly payed off. IMO I feel that knocking Dietrich out cold was the best thing that happened that game to start the turnaround.

i think it was prout who ripped a shot and it nailed him in the facemask of his helmet. He just dropped into the goal and didnt move... it was a wicked shot but kinda scary for calgary. The game was cool to be at though

When they told us the attendance at the Pepsi center it was 17,823 fans.It really didn't seem as packed as it was,but there were a lot of people in the nose bleeds that i couldn't see since i was right behind the glass

I was also sad we might loose Langtry when he got hit in the nuts but he recovered and looked like he wanted to hunt down the guy who got him there...funny i never got the ,dude who did that to him,name

It was acually Dan Carey who delivered the bullet to Dietrich's noggin. They were saying that his head is so big that he doesn't fit in normal goalie helmets so he has to wear the old school kind whice is less proctective. I for one find it incredible that a guy who's 5'9 and 275 punds can play, and even be amazingly good too. And I was bored today and figured out that his BMI acually translates to obese!!!:imparied: :wow:
