I was driving around yesterday and got stuck behind a Mercury Mariner in traffic. I couldn't help but wonder where the hell I saw that logo before, and then I remembered-Maveriks is almost identical.

I knew I had seen that logo before! It wasn't just my imagination then. I'll have to look into that.

They definitely look similar

yeam vert similar, just the maverick top to diagnol up lines meet at the same level and go right from there while the third line to the right continues through this plane, in the mercury symbol there r just three obtuse angle shapes that do not interest at any point(s). very similar however.
doesnt say much about maveriks creativity but in a way it is better for advertising.

Yes, It does. I was trying to find something else on the site that had any resemblance to the logo we are discussing, but I couldn't so unless we are looking at the wrong thing...

I see a circle with three diagonal lines going through it. It isn't all that crazy to have something as basic as that for more than one company's logo.
