The adistrike are very bulky for D. The Maveriks are the highest quality there imo, I haven't tried on 7ks, but they look good.
None of those are reall what you want for D, look at Exo II's.

The Exo II's are light, I could hardley tell I had them on. They have protection in just the right spots, especially the heart area. The kind of give you a specialized fit, the the little tie things in the front (like glove cuffs). You have great arm flexibility with these on also.
Its like a liner, just a little more protective. There susposed to be for middies and attackmen (at least thats what they aimed for) but defenders love them.
You won't regret it if you get them.
(Also, if your looking for new arm pads, check out the Maverik defense arm pads, there very comfertable, and flexible, I got em' for christmas.)

Really? Hows the heart protection?
And those wholes in the top shoulder, how big are the wholes?
Just take a picture of em for me =)
