I was wondering if it is legal, if you could use a wooden stick in a league with kids from grades 4th to 8th. Thanks

Do you mean a wooden stick or a wooden shaft in a conventional plastic head?

It's legal, unless the league has a rule against it. I can't think of why they would, though.

They are legal. In Canada we play against Six Nations and their d-poles have all wooden sticks with wood heads. They hurt like crazy. There is no rule against it unless the length is illegal or there is something attached or on the stick that can hurt someone.

not only is it legal but those weak little 4th grade arms will benefit from the wielding the extra weight.
