amen to 3rdpersonplurals idea.
All brine and stx shafts/heads. hundreds of cascade helmets. Every single limited edition shaft available, and a whole room dedicated to stringing supplies. Everything available. And there would be a 99% discount for me and my amigos. Maybe they can put in a hooters next door or in the middle of the store.

Coming from a girls perspective, Hooters wouldn't do it for me.
My ideal store would be run by college and NLL hotties with no shirts as the official uniform(store policy). The store would be stocked with girls lax equipment instead of those other stores that have tons of mens sticks and helmets and about a dozen girls sticks and 3 pairs of goggles. The 99% discount rate would still apply.

Tons of stringing stuff. Every singlebrand with every piece of gear ever made. I'm the owner so I could take what I want. (I know that's not how it works but hey, it's the idea lax store ain't it?), and 3PP's idea. Heaven.

I picture a big truck that has every piece of gear and stringing supplies every head strung in every way that will come to my house when I want it and everything was free or they give me money. and its owned by mikey powell and brian dougherty

stock everything (including mohawk and shamrock stuff) and have a room with stringing supplies and a shooting room with a net and itd be sweet if you can look at a stick and string it right there and throw with it and if it doesnt float your boat you dont have to pay for the mesh or the stick...so you can try it before you buy it and i wouldnt want dollar gear cuz then the companies wont have money to make improvements...20 bucks is good

Realistically.....
There are individual Brine, STX, Warrior, Harrow, Gait, sections.
There is a Mesh, Shooters, String, section.
They always have every item in stock.
Whatever lax.com charges, this store charges 20 bucks less.
They have multiple turf alleys with goals, like a shooting range. You can try out new gear or just shoot with your own stick.

Realisticly i would have Enjois idea, but right here in England. But there would still be free chicken...
I'd also add in an apparell and footwear section.

I think its would be sweet if the store had all the gear thats comin out in like the next year or two from all the big time companies. you know, like prototypes. And if the place had like a stick makin machine were you design your own shaft and its made right then and there. haha but idk thats prolly not for a while(if ever)

When you first walk in theres a register, and behind it a room (employes only, where they string sticks, extra boxes). Back wall is filled with helmets (the local teams colors, plain white and black). Then the right wall is filled with gloves, shoulderpads, arm pads, and rib pads (all divided up by company, and within company by model). Then the left wall is filled with heads, seperated by postion (defence, attack/midfield). The other half of the left wall is filled with sticks, mabey 1 or 2 limited edition shafts.
Then 2 shooting alleys (mabey theres a door on the back wall? (like a bowling alley, but with the goal closer and walls between the 2 lanes covered with foam)). A 10% discount to all local players.
I would match prices online (excluding shipping) and take the 10% off ((players discount) like my local store). I would try not to carry a lot of warrior stuff, since I don't agree with there names/advertising, and I would carry Mavrick and Mohawk stuff.
In the middle somewhere I would have a rack thing, filled with cleats. Once a month I would have a stringing tutoriul/learning class.
I think I would have to have a side bussines to rake in the cash I need to support my family.

My ideal lax store is one that is in Miami, like any normal lax store like qc lax or something but in Miami its a pain in the butt not having a place to go to see the equipment before i buy it.

A place like Michigan-Lax. Good choice of equipment and most importantly a place in the back with a goal that you can shoot on and also a speed cage to test your shot spee. I just wish there was one a little closer to me so i dont have to drive an hour to get to it. and i love their price. 3 bucks, and you can play all day!

26laxman26 - do you shop at detroit lax? I feel your pain, i have to drive an hour to get there too.
I would have a LIMITED EDITION room. All shafts, heads, and anything else thats lmt ed.

Yeah i go there too. both michigan-lax and detroit lax are about the same distance from me (swartz creek). ive just started going to michigan-lax and i like it more than detroit lax because i think they have a better selection and they have the shooting room and speed cage.

i would have to store be like warehouse big, and carry everything on the market, not just the stuff in high demand
it would also have a section for apparel(under amour, everyday clothes, cleats, game socks, shorts)
a section to sell your old gear to the store
and then a whole little counter section dedicated to stringing and stinging supplies
with a back room with goals and walls to try out what your thinking about getting

as much as I like 3P's idea how about this...
have at netted area and goal/wall with 1 piece of every equipment available to try on and get a feel.
I'd also like a store to offer customization (dye/stringing) at more reasonable prices than what is out there now.

That is excellent. Also it would be nice if the store has really good random sales at random times of the day. For example, they just announce over the intercom for the next 10 minutes all Warrior gloves are 60% off with purchase of any head...or whatnot.

Why would you get rid of chicken wings?

first off...it would be the dollar lacrosse store. there would be hot girls as sales associates, and they knew everything about lax so they would know wat you were talking about if you needed something. big flat screens with MLL, college and NLL games on. deff an indoor arena with the new real grass turf. a day that local pro and college players would come for a few hours to play at the arena for me to watch, free wings and drinks.
this store would be big, built around the arena so you could watch the games while you shop. and on non-game days, have pick up games all day so you could play with your equip right after you bought it.

I think it would also be cool if they had every shaft imaginable on this big, long wall. Then, in the middle of the room there would be metal rods that would stick up from the ground. The first metal rod would be titanium, then a sc-ti, then a scandium, then a c405 material, then 7075 material, and finally aluminum. You could take any shaft off of the wall and test the strength of each shaft against a different metal rod. You could determine what kind of shaft you would like to use, but this would never happen.

To tell you the whole truth i thought about doing this once i get older...
- One Wall has heads and shafts (organized by Brand, and Size shafts)
- One wall has Helmets and shoulder pads with a sizing chart for each brand
- One wall has Gloves, Arm pads, and Rib pad on it organized the same way
- 3 Shooting ranges (2 for people to shoot at goals, and one for a goalie where it throws shots at you)
- Stringing section where there is a stringing class once a week
- Notebooks with written reviews about equipment
- Cleat Section
- Mini Grill thing like burgers and stuff
- Indoor field......
- Like winny said a place for you to trade your stuff and or sell used gear
This would need to be in a place where lacrosse is big not here in DE

Well, I live by the sportstop warehouse...Its pretty much perfect. Only thing they lack is gait gear.
They have isles set up about 150 feet long, and each isle (two sided) is devoted to a comnapny
They have brine/warrior/gait/stx/cascade isles, then they have 2 isled devoted to box gear. They have a wall that is covered in stringing stuff. Also, the very first isle is made up of smaller companies (scorpion, maverik, ect). They have pretty much every piece of equipment from the companies they stock, and you can try anything on.

:wow:
Ok so... hm...
Now you walk into the palace of lacrosse, hot babes with australian accents surround you and ask you for any drinks/food/etc. before you shop for your luxuries. All of a sudden, the hot australian babes disappear then a giant wall as big as the empire state building appears full with heads and shafts. of course your riding a magic carpet, so you would have no trouble looking at the whole wall. A magic lamp will then land on your head, and you will have 10 wishes for an item you wish to get for free. After you pick your items, it leads you to another room full with pads. NFL star John Runyan lets you see the full durability of the pads as he puts them on and jacks the crap out of the cashier. Then comes the room appearing full of helmets. A line of helmets appear before you, as do RPG's, AK47's, hand guns and numerous explosives. You start bombarding the helmets until the last one is standing. They fix it, customize it, and ship it to you for free. Walking out of THIS store, is now just way too oldschool. They rent you out a free Ferrari to drive in style on the way back to your house. It teleports back when you park in your driveway. As their last favor, the australian babes are yours too keep. And they never get old. Or mean. And they make you sandwiches.
THE END :imparied:
