I dont know their name exactly but im sure they're some kind of old school liner. I think they're the same kind of pads as the adams ones you can get on lax.com.

Are they legal to wear?

I cant say i know much about the rules in your state. However, i imagine they are, they seem to serve the exact same purpose as any other pad.

Yessum they are legal
they have a little removable bicep pad
even then I've never seen a ref checking your shoulder pads

Those arn't Adams liners. There like them, but these have more protection towards the chest area. The shoulder caps seem to come out farther then Adams also. Probaly some old school version of an Adams Liner, they look like a football pad with the foam inside cut out, and the lower shoulder caps cut off (in fact, the probaly are)
Look here.

Just get a pair of QB pads and cut/tear out the inside of the pad, and the lower shoulder caps.

i don't know man, those look like adams liners to me... you can see the paint coming off...

But Adams liners don't cover the chest (heart) area like the ones he is wearing, you can see that the chest area is full, not cut out like the Adams.
They could be white football SP with black spray paint.

i guess... im not real sure anymore... but i do think its spray painted...

It's not an Adams liner. Bacharach, Brine, and probably STX used to make their own vinyl shoulder pads, in black too. They're just about 20 years old so the color is peeling off. John Grant Jr. wore similar pads on the cover of Inside Lacrosse.

#8 has the same shoulder pads and the black isn't peeling. the whole team or just certain players might get custom shoulder pads if they want certain protection. A while back some guy on tfl said he visited duke and in the locker room they had custom shoulder pads for players

#15 has the same shoulder pads aswell. I don't think they are Adams liners because they look different on the actual shoulder cap bit (http://www.lax.com/shop/item.phtml?page=product_1470_back.phtml).

i'm positive they are those bacharachs you posted. look at the ones on the d-man, and you can see two little holes on the very end of the shoulder cap. those ones you posted also have the little holes.

i have a pair of those. they could be bacharach but the ones i have are made by stx. brine also used to make white ones. they are actual shoulder pads but were stopped being made a while ago. imo they are the best shoulder pads out. light w/ just enough protection. they are foam and vinyl dipped like the old school box arm guards.

On a completely different subject (since this thread is way old anyways), I never thought I'd see a Deuce on a pole from a college player. Jeepers Batman.

they are definately SP liners. the brand doesnt make a difference because they are all functionally the same.
wear better SPs than that. those are meant to be worn under FB pads

search TLF for spenny shoulder surgery to find out why.
