Has anyone used these in HS play? How do they hold up? Are checks from the defense dulled at all?

hey are fantastic i dont feel a thing in them i love them very comfortable and mobile

my friend has them and they are pretty bulky, but take off the extra heart cap... I think he got new ones because they were bulky and rode up a lot (he might have got brine liners but not sure)

I don't think they have a heart pad, Just a sternum pad with the STX logo, which I guess might protect the heart a litttle. Does it hinder movement much?

im not gonna lie, the protection is minimal, but it has the mobility of sp liners, and its very light

ya i have them, they arent the greatest protection, but they're very mobile, all i did was take off the bicep pads bc they were annoying and too tight for my huge arms lol, but since i make up for my size with quickness i dont really need much padding cause i dont get beat up alot, but overall i like them alot :thumbsup:
