Just got that shaft for Christmas and the the grip is starting to peel off from the first day of camp.

I found out it was made of wood when I had to drill the hole for the screw. Are wood sticks that much different that metal sticks? A couple friends said it was illegal and a couple said it is legal?

I was checking out this Maverik Wonder Boy today that looked pretty sweet.

The wonderboy has had some denting problems, but I've heard its an overall great shaft.
Lots of kids think wood shafts are crap, and illegal...watch me split there Alloy into 2.

Warrior Hero shafts are not made of wood. They are carbon composites that have wooden plugs at both ends of the shaft so they dont look hallow.

The warrior hero composite(lolz) is made of composite, not wood. Wood shafts are legal, and wood indian sticks are legal in some leagues.

Ah I see. The material that came out looked like wood.

A little bit worried about the Wonder Boy though. Watched my friend snap his in half hitting a water bottle with it. I'm going to talk to the Maverik guy tomorrow.

I do like the feel a little better of the wood.

a db803 is pretty much the same thing as a wonderboy and im pretty sure its stronger, ive heard only good things about the db803 but pretty much only bad about the wonderboy
