Ok so this is gonna be my first year of high school lacrosse so I need some new school colored gloves. Right now I have a pair of Freak's and I really like them so I kind of want something similar. I can't try on any gloves since theres no stores near me and most of my friends don't have the gloves I'm looking at so I have a few questions so It'll be easier to make my decision. Right now I'm looking at Shockers, Identity, Dynasty II, and Mutants.

1. How flexible are these gloves compared to freaks

2. Is it true that mutants are not very durable.

3. I haven't seen a review on Dynasty II or the Identity so I'd like to know about the protection, comfort, etc.

4. How are the Identity palms and whats the deal with that wristband looking thing on them.

If you own these gloves and feel comfortable writing a review, please do so.

1. The Shockers are the same flexibility, or really close. It feels loke the Dynasty II's are about the same, or better. Can't coment on mutants.

2. Can't comment.

3. Protection is GREAT on the Dynasty II's, very comfy.

4. Its a cuff for added wrist protection.

I would narrow it down to the Shockers and Dynasty II's.

you could just go to warrior's website and you can customize some freaks in your school colors, because you dont need a team order so you can only get 1 pair if you want

Ya its just that I want something new but still kind of the same if you know what I mean. Titanoh, are the Dynasty II tight fitting. They also seem kind of long, are they?

There certenly not loose, there tight enough for me. They arn't really that long, fit like any normal glove

yes but they take up to 3 months to get back to you. plus there are deadlines that you have to meet for the custom gloves. you might have to wait till the next order date to do so.

CoUgAr, I've tried the shockers on, and there flexible, like Superfreaks, but there so light, im not sure that the protection could be thst good. I would be worried if I got them, for durability, Warrior gloves have had durability issues.
You really need to try them on yourself though. Im sure you'll be happy with whatever you get.

Titanoh, thanks for your help. I can't really try on either of these gloves casue no one has them and no stores are near by. I'm leaning towards Dynasty II because you say they have good flexibility and protection but now I just need to know about the protection of Shockers because if they're as flexible and lighter then Dynasty II and have good protection then they're my best bet. Could it be possible for you to take pictures of the Dynasty II on your hands?

I would, but Im not sure where my camra cord is. You won't really be able to see much more than the factory pictures.
One other thing I love about Dynasty's is the cuff, Its like a regular cuff, but it dosen't restrict your wrist movement like other cuffs.
Watch the video here:

and you'll get some good views of the glove.

1.)Mutants arent that flexible i know that, Dynasty 2's i HEAR that they are quite nice. other 2 i cant say.

2.)one of the kids i teach that played a whole season with the Mutants. they stayed in great condition.

3.)already commented all i can on them

4.) the wristband is just for sweat, i dont think it adds any protection. and im pretty sure that identitys have any palms. they have that new Palmless feature. Thats how they were in the LaxWorld catalogue.

The price on the DII and the Shockers are better and they seem like great gloves but I was thinking about Superfreak II.

4.) the wristband is just for sweat, i dont think it adds any protection. and im pretty sure that identitys have any palms. they have that new Palmless feature. Thats how they were in the LaxWorld catalogue.

They were suppose to be palmless and be legal because they aren't altered but they're still illegal so they make them with palms now but on lax.com the palms look terrible.

Ok I think this is the last question. How is the sizing on these gloves. Right now I'm a freshman so I'm sure my hands are gonna grow and my fingers are at the tip of my freaks so how big are the size 13 shockers and DII.

Titanoh

DII's feel a little bigger than a 13, but stick on your hand nice and tight. Shockers are the same ase Superfreaks, size whise.

So if my hands are all the way to the tip of "12 freaks, would it be right to get "13 DII's?

Titanoh
01-05-2008, 07:29 PM
Yeah, your hands will be fine in them, if your hands are at the tip of those Freaks, its time to move into "13.
