hey i heard that when the swizzbeat shaft gets hit the grip shatters a little bit! Is it true? i also head it shatters. very weird.

Hmm.
the shaft, is Very light, however the grip, the stickers, come off VERY easily.
i think its better to stick to a regular 7075 shaft, and use athetletic tape, and save 30 dollars

my friend got one, and it did chip a little, but the 3-d texture stayed and its fine now, but a couple days after he got it we played in tournement all day so that might have done something, i still think its a great shaft

i have one. the grip peels, its like a thin layer over the shaft. when it gets hit it may scratch the layer but a hit won't scratch it completely off but will make it thinner. for me the grip rubbed off after cradling right before a shot. but it was like 2 weeks after i bought the shaft and played some scrimmages with it. No dents, a few scratches but it hasn't been hit with big check straight to the shaft so i don't know. the 3d texture stays on a lot longer than the grip but i do have a small chip in the 3d design.

I have yet to use my swizzbeat but ill be using it today so ill edit this post later and tell you guys what happened to the grip.
